The to came with a replacement for the inner tube that attaches to the attachments. The inner adapter never came loose from the outer sheath. It also as seen in photo and video began to warp and turn an odd rusted color. The attachments would no longer thread into it so they would just fall out. They initially would screw in and stay, then about the third time, the attachments would get extremely loose while hot. They they just didn’t stay at all.

I was using this for wooden Christmas ornaments. I took very good care of this tool. I was so excited when I received it. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with the product. Though I haven’t used it yet, the most important thing that should have been in the package, which is the metal holder, is missing. Searched the entire package and it’s not there. It’s important to hold a hot pyrographic pen. See how important that singular piece is in comparison to the other secondary pieces that are in the pouch! I know at some point I will have to replace the pyrographic pen at some point too because it doesn’t look and feel sturdy but maybe able to withstand the frequency of doing different projects. I’ll see how that goes after doing the many projects I have planned. Not a bad kit to start out with for beginners. HOWEVER, after several hours 2 regular people and an engineering genius... we got the tool ready to use the different tip and ready to start on a few projects I have ready to create. Although it may get pretty hot, it doesn''t burn the wood very well.
