However I was very disappointed in the hot knife attachment. The collet and chuck assembly meant to hold the blade look as though they''re from two different assemblies. The chuck is so tight it is impossible to get a blade in without the potential for blood loss.

Still trying to determine if I want to contact the company to see if they can send a new hot knife, or return the whole set. I put one of the soddering tips in as it had a small tip end and it worked great but lossened up quickly. I used a small set of household plyers and just turned it until it stopped on the bottom and continued. It lossened again and was looking crooked, so i turned off the pen and let it cool for two to three minutes and removed it. I thought I''d try it in my multi heat hallow walnut pen, it has a tighter tip area. It started in with no problem and I was turning it by hand and all the sudden it napped leaving the end in the pen. Attempts to remove it failed and trying to drill it at a friends commercial steel fabrication shop ended in a ruined wood burner. So I am not only out my minnor cost purchase but also my good wood burning pen. I don''t suppose you would replace it either? Needless to say even though I loved the small sized tips that allowed intricate work, which was exactly what I was looking for, the VERY POORLY MADE TIPS ruined my higher priced equipment. 3 people found this helpful Helpful
