This the most perfect nursery chair. I have searched countlessly for the most perfect nursery chair – one that wasn''t too big (our nursery isn''t that big of a space) and specifically a recliner. I decided on this chair because the cost was the same as your name brand nursery recliner chair... but it has massage functionality, the side pockets (great for holding books), and cup holders (no brainer if you ask me). The cup holders alone were awesome to put empty baby bottles or phone while you are rocking and bonding with your baby. This is my third baby and I so wish I had this chair for all pregnancies/post-delivery because of all the conveniences. AND the rocking motion is so effortless.

Chair Quality:
#1 The Fabric – I couldn''t decide between the white leather or the gray fabric. Ultimately, I went with the gray fabric because I read reviews that the white chairs would get stains that wouldn''t come off. I have seen chairs with the same white leather material that had that issue and its most likely came from clothes ink getting on it. I didn''t want to spend this much on a chair for it to look stained or even have future peeling. I went with the gray fabric and the color is not only beautiful in review pictures but it’s even more beautiful in person. I''m even returning a throw pillow I purchased for it because the chair looks so nice by itself. The fabric seems very durable and because of the color (light/medium grey) I know it will look so nice and hide everything (future spills – to be expected with 3 kiddos).

#2 The Chair Foam – I literally said, “Wow!” when I took one of the chair parts out of the box because of the comfortable density (and color). It is a happy medium in firmness. Not too soft, not too hard… literally perfect. The lumbar support is also there and my preggo body loves it right now.

Massage Function:
This chair is systematic vibrations throughout the whole chair that can get pretty strong and I love it. It''s NOT a shiatsu massage chair with the rollers – those shiatsu massage chairs are up there in price; this will do the trick to give you the nice relaxation you need.

Chair Size:
I am 5''2'''' and 115lbs (not pregnant) and currently 140lbs (pregnant). I can currently fit myself and my 5-year-old side by side on the chair (not on my lap but by my side). My husband is 6''2" 200lbs and he didn''t complain about the size at all – he said it was very relaxing. Again, keep in mind that we didn''t want the obnoxiously big recliner chair, but one that would fit in our small nursery space. It''s perfect!

Delivery:
Delivery was great. The chair arrived in two boxes and one did appear to have been a little beat up. However, the chair was in pieces to be assembled and each piece was individually wrapped nice and neat in a bag as well as separated with cardboard sheets to keep the fabric looking beautiful with no flaws.

Installing Tips:
My petite pregnant self couldn’t wait for the hubby to get home to install and it was easy to put together with minor setbacks. The sides of the chair slid into the base of the chair, and then you slide the back of the chair into the base after. The hardest part was installing the back of the chair, so here is what I did… I knelt on the base of the chair (facing back of chair) holding the back of in place. I then pressed firmly down on a top corner until I heard a click on the chair and proceeded to do the same thing to the other top corner side. When I stood behind it trying to push the back of the chair down, it was extremely difficult for me to push into place and lock it in.

Cons:
Because this chair can’t be absolutely perfect… I did notice that when I had the massage function on there was rattling underneath it when in the recline position. I did some investigation and there is a zipper under the recliner portion. I simply safety pinned the zipper tab onto the fabric and voila it’s fixed… no more rattling! When you have the massage function also on with items in the cub holder, it makes the items rattle slightly which could get a little annoying. Also, vibration function is a bit loud. I don’t anticipate this being a problem in the nursery because we will be using a noise machine anyway to block out unwanted noise for the baby. Lastly, people mentioned when reclining all the way the back doesn’t really stay put. It’s true for the most part, but it’s not going to forcefully push you back up, but instead, gradually push you up over time if that makes sense. I did notice that when I scooted my toosh back all the way and then pushed the recliner all the way back it did stay down pretty well.

All and all, I couldn’t recommend this chair more. I absolutely LOVE it! I am optimistic that it will hold up for many years! 1) Comfort: I bought this as a gift for my husband for gaming and lounging. I would describe it as almost "bouncy"; it''s plush, yet you don''t feel like you''re sinking into it! In general, it is very supportive while still having some cushion and is very comfortable for my husband to sit in for long periods of time. However, he still uses a small pillow for his lower back when not using the massage function for more support as this chair is more flat back than curved.
2) Size: My husband is 6''2 ~215lbs and he finds the chair to be a good size for his body. When in the fully reclined position, his ankles hang off the end a couple inches but he says he doesn''t mind and still enjoys using the chair. It is relatively light for such a large piece of furniture and can be easily scooted/dragged around.
3) Assembly: EASY PEASY. You simply slide each of the arms into place on the base of the chair and then slide the back into the base. It took us less than 2 minutes and all the pieces fit perfectly together and were in good condition (no scratches, dents, or bends).
4) Aesthetics: Love the color. It is true to the photos by the company and is a nice stone grey that looks good with my other furniture. The material is a sort of rough texture that feels soft, but sturdy.
5) Features: The massage features are great! Very similar to the massage chairs I''ve sat in at nail salons. This chair did arrive in 2 boxes, and I freaked for a few seconds when I realized there were no instructions included! However, just looking at the pieces for a few seconds I was able to figure out how to assemble it, and while I had minimal difficulty lining up the pieces to slide together (no screws or tools needed!) it was extremely easy to assemble this chair by myself.

I''m a heavy set woman, about 5''4" and about 280ish....with rather thick thighs....I don''t really have space on the sides of my legs, but this chair is perfectly sized for my body, and it''s super comfy!

The only real downside is that if I decide to lay back I have to lay all the way back otherwise the back pushes me forward. Most of the time I just want my legs up without reclining back, but sometimes I''d like to recline back without having to lay all the way back...but honestly this is still an amazing chair and I''m soooo glad I bought it!

One thing to think about is how to put your legs back down....I''ve found it easier to kind of rock backward while pushing my feet down, otherwise it doesn''t really want to close fully. The sizing is way off and the quality of the fabric is so poor you can feel it will rip with minimal use. The reclining section is so hard to put down once it’s up that you have to get up and put all your weight into it to close it back up. The “massage” it a joke! It literally just vibrates and it’s loud so pretty much useless. The seat part didn’t line up with the back so the edge came forward. This edge was raised and it would put pressure on my sciatic nerve, pretty much rendering it useless. The return process was a nightmare!!! They wanted me to pay to return it which mounted to over $700!!!! For a chair that was less than $400!!! There was a big back and forth where they offered me $20 then $50 to keep the chair. After contacting Amazon and lots of tear. They used the A to Z guarantee and finally after two weeks I got a full refund. Please, please Please do your research before you purchase! Learn from me. Okay I had to reduce the amount of stars given for this chair. It is still very comfortable to sit in with both the foot rest up or down however, reclining the back of the chair is very difficult and unformfortable. You put have to use all of your strength to push the back into a more reclined/laying down position but it doesn''t hold. You have to continue to use your strength to hold it there otherwise you will come back up. It is basically like a workout, using your abs and back muscles to keep the chair laying back and very uncomfortable. I emailed the seller to tell them about it and they said this chair is a manual recline and that you have to use your strength to stay laying back and that it is normal. So basically imagine laying back to watch a movie and having to strain and tense your muscles the whole time.
I''ve never had a recliner that made me do that but okay. If you say so.

ORIGINAL REVIEW - So I got this chair yesterday. It shipped in 2 separate boxes. One box came like 4 days before the other so it may be a little annoying having one huge box sit around, especially if you don''t have storage space to put it. Anyway, once the 2nd box arrived the set up was easy. I didn''t experience any difficulty with attaching the sides or the back to base. I am a larger woman at around 5''10 and overweight and pregnant. This chair feels very comfortable and supportive as of right now. The foot rest is easy for me to put back down.

I haven''t really tried the extra features like the massage and heat because that wasn''t what I bought this chair for but it is cool that they are there. For the few seconds I did turn it on there is pretty strong vibration but not like a salon chair where to balls roll down your back and all of that. Its a very padded chair so I am not sure what people expected from the massage feature other than the vibration.

I guess it''s good to not have to struggle to get up, but it would be nice if there were a handle on the side to recline, and the pulley on the inside of the chair could be used to release that.

Also, the fabric is really itchy - I had to cover it with a sheet before I could stand to put my bare feet on it. I get it is a $319.00 chair, you get what you pay for. The chair is extremely cheaply built. I mean cheap. I should have used my common sense, It is to good to be true. How else could you manufacture a reclining chair, swivel, with massage, heat feature and ship it to the other side of the world for sale for $319.00... The only reason I risked buying this inexpensive of a recliner, is because I didn''t want to spend a lot on a chair if I was unable to try it out. With the pandemic, I didn''t want to go to the showroom and try out a bunch of chairs.

I was using it to replace my 8 year old, $500 recliner from Value City furniture. Value City recliner was sooo much better quality. I have a Lazy Boy recliner I purchased on sale for $850.00. Again no comparison.

The fabric is ok feeling but won''t last long. The reclining leg will not pull all the way up unless I use my hands to force it to fully extend. After reclining the chair a few times, the whole chair just looks crooked and I spent 30 minutes getting everything aligned properly. Each arm has a strange paper label stapled on that says "Past Formaldehyde Test EPA". I would be surprised if the US EPA examined $319.00 chairs, but I could be wrong... So the stapled on paper label has me a little worried.

I will live with this chair until the pandemic is over. Then I will go to a local store showroom and get a quality recliner. I''m so tired of junk from Amazon and China. I have learnt my lesson over the last couple of years.

I''m really disappointed. I should have saved the $319.00 for a real recliner. This is a nice chair. BUT hard to get the bottom down when getting up out of it. I have to get out and kick backward on the bottom to get it to close.
I think it is about time manufacturers get with the program and make these recliners easier to close up the bottom. Why in this day and age why can''t they.. Don''t they know a lot of elderly people depend on these chairs to relax? They are messing up. I know if they fixed the problem they could sell plenty recliners but they are stuck with the old technology and can''t seem to get it fixed for us elderly folks. I don''t want a lift chair, I just want a comfortable recliner that closes easily. Along with millions of other people.
