After a few months of use with the replacement unit I found that the temperature is not consistent when set, handles get very hot with extended use, a screw on one handle will not tightan on wire tip.
Unit is a marginal unit and shows you get what you pay for. Spend a little more and get a better unit such as Oak Hollow. As a beginner I have a long way to go, but buying this kit it didn’t have a beginner’s guide to help.
