I had to replace a double gang outlet box that had a switch and a set of outlets in it, I replaced the SPST switch with a new Eaton Nightlight with Switch unit, (you can find my review for that as well on that product listing) and decided to replace the receptacles with this unit.

Installation was a snap, and the terminals felt safe and snug with plenty of room to work and nothing dangerously close to each other like ground next to hot etc. Although I used a dual gang plate cover, the included cover would have been an EXCELLENT choice to use if this were a single gang install. It''s high quality and feels/looks nice, especially since it is screwless. Overall, that helps to give this outlet a nice look.

The USB outlets are sufficiently spaced with the NEMA receptacles, so that all can coexist happily, yes, you can have something plugged in to every socket fine without anything blocking, in most cases. Obviously, if you use a larger grounded plug that is just chonky or a wall wart, they are going to block something.

Charging is fast and the unit stays cool even under high load, nice. The outlets feature TR plugs, which I''m not a huge fan of but I understand the safety ideas behind it and I''m all for that. So, keep in mind when plugging into it, you must insert your plug kind of specifically (refer to the manual) to get it to go in properly. To me this is better than having those useless plug covers that look hideous, and... a child can easily pull out rendering the safety measure useless; so, this unit wins in terms of safety for sure vs. a standard outlet with a cover/insert.

Note: I wouldn''t call this glossy or matte, it''s more like semi-gloss to be honest, which is fine and looks quite nice to be honest. The white color may or may not match your other outlets/plates depending on manufacturer. I use Leviton and the color was close but not exact, especially since I use glossy Leviton everywhere that makes the differences/effect even more pronounced. So, if color matching is crucial, you may want to order one to see before ordering in bulk. The return window is closed so that is not an option.
Update: just installed the fourth and it is very quiet. You basically have to put your ear up to it to hear anything so 1 out 4. Tested using the same cables and devices as the others.
