I bought this for my RV which has a very large Android head unit I use for all my entertainment on the road. The Android head unit only has one HDMI out and I have a TV and a projector. This works fine as long as only one of them is on at the same time but if I turn the projector on when the TV is already on neither one of them will work.

Keep in mind this might be just my situation and it might be that the Android head unit just doesn''t have enough power coming out of the HDMI port for the signal to still be strong enough at each device (we''re talking about a 25 and 35 ft HDMI cord by the way)

If you''re using this with a PC to run to monitors or maybe a game console to two TVs it might work as long as your HDMI cords are really short.

As far as I can tell it''s not directional so it would also work the other way around and let you use more devices on an older TV that only has one or two HDMI ports or let you add something like a Chromecast or Roku stick to a computer monitor that only has one input....
